Willie J Charlesworth first set up his business during 1897 in Washwood Heath, Birmingham producing small tools and bicycles. Before long he was machining plastics plugs & sockets for the emerging wireless industry. This lead to him forming Charlesworth Mouldings with three of his sons Percy, Leslie & William.
By 1941 with the retirement of his father, Percy with his son Cyril set up on their own as Charlesworth & Son which over 70 years later is still being run by his family.
