In 1970 Jeannette Charlesworth finished engineering college and joined the family business, taking on all injection moulding production. At this time we experimenting with producing hollow mouldings with complex internal shapes, & produced the first of what came to be known as soluble core moulding. Using this process of moulding round a core made from a low melting point alloy we produced one piece control handles for tanks & helicopters.

In 1974 Jeannette & Michael were married. Percy retired to Budleigh Salterton in 1975.

With our reputation for low volume, high quality parts, 1976 saw our first order from The Morgan Motor Co Ltd. In 1978 we won a large contract from British Aerospace for Milan guided missile components.

Michael & Jeannette's son Ian was born in 1979.
